May 22, 2006 - World Vision Lanka bagged a Bronze award for its Human Bridge TV commercial at the “Chillies 2006" – Advertising Award night on the 20th May 2006, organized by the International Advertising Association and the Accredited Advertising Agency Association of Sri Lanka.

It is noteworthy that WVL competed with 45 other Brands in the Corporate Image Category, representing government organizations, corporate entities, banks, insurance companies etc The only award presented in this category (bronze, as there was no silver or gold awarded) went to World Vision Lanka’s Human Bridge TV Commercial.

The Grant McCann Erickson, who was responsible for developing the campaign, received the award at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre, Colombo.

The 32 leading advertising agencies that entered the contest were judged by international judges and their local counterparts. ‘Chillies 2006’ was presented by the International Advertising Association and the Accredited Advertising Agency Association.
